Explain the steps to create two way data table for maturity amount and Interest for the table in cells A1:B5.





To prepare two way table ,
Enter the formula
= FV(B2/100,B3,0,-B1) in cell B4.
Enter the formula,  =B4-B1 in cell B5.
Enter the heading Maturity in cell F1
Enter the formula, =B4 in cell D2.
ENTER VALUES 7,7.5,8,8.5 in cells E2:H2
ENTER VALUES 5,10,15,20 in cells D3:D6
Select the range of cells D2:H6
Click on DATA TAB, in  DATA TAB click on ‘WHAT IF analysis’ from DATA TOOLS group.
From the menu select DATA TABLE, Data table dialog box appears,
Enter $B$2 and row input cell.
Enter $b$3 as column input cell
And click on OK. Now the table is prepared.



Enter the heading Interest  in cell F8
Enter the formula, =B5 in cell D9.
ENTER VALUES 7,7.5,8,8.5 in cells E9:H9
ENTER VALUES 5,10,15,20 in cells D10:D13
Select the range of cells D9:H13
Click on DATA TAB, in  DATA TAB click on ‘WHAT IF analysis’ from DATA TOOLS group.
From the menu select DATA TABLE, Data table dialog box appears,
Enter $B$2 and row input cell.
Enter $b$3 as column input cell
And click on OK. Now the table is prepared.
